You look at the people around you, scurrying around to make their mark in this world, struggling desperately not to be forgotten. But I ask you this: What is so horrible about being forgotten? Why must we strive so hard to be remembered? Is it because we believe that we would live forever through other peoples' memories?
The way I see it. Human beings are not built to live forever. And no matter what people may think, immortality is a state of consciouseness. Once that is gone you are nothing again.
